Ashford Birdwatchers Club is a small group of people with an interest in birdwatching in and around Kent. We hold indoor meetings through the winter and also arrange a variety of field meetings thoughout the year. All indoor meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at St. Mary's Community Hall, Rylands Road, Kennington, Ashford, Kent TN24 9LL at 7.30 pm. New members are very welcome. There is a £4.00 admission fee to cover the cost of the hall and speakers.
Our next zoom meeting will be on Wednesday March 13th with a talk entitled
"The Birds of Paradise" by Ray Hale featuring a trip to Raja
Ampat, Papua, Indonesia in search of the birds and butterflies. Ray Hale is a
new speaker for us and has travelled to Indonesia many times. This should be a
very colourful and fascinating talk.
