Wednesday 14th May meet in the Park Wood Car Park at 7.30 pm for a walk round this lovely Wealden wood looking and listening for spring migrants, especially Nightingales. (TQ 953. 316)
Wednesday June 11th meet in the King's Wood car park at 8.45pm for Nightjars and Woodcock.
Ashford Birdwatchers Club is a small group of people with an interest in birdwatching in and around Kent. We hold indoor meetings through the winter and also arrange a variety of field meetings thoughout the year. All indoor meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at St. Mary's Community Hall, Rylands Road, Kennington, Ashford, Kent TN24 9LL at 7.30 pm. New members are very welcome. There is a £4.00 admission fee to cover the cost of the hall and speakers.
