Ashford Birdwatchers Club is a small group of people with an interest in birdwatching in and around Kent. We hold indoor meetings through the winter and also arrange a variety of field meetings throughout the year. All indoor meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month at the W.I. Hall, 228, Faversham Road, Kennington, Ashford, TN24 9AN, Kent at 2.30 pm. New members are very welcome. There is a £4.00 admission fee to cover the cost of the hall and speakers.

SPRING BIRDSONG: DAWN CHORUS FIELD MEETING FRIDAY 28TH APRIL, 05.00hrs
Set your alarms early.......This year we have a field meeting to listen to the Dawn Chorus. It's on Friday April 28th, meeting at Faggs Wood Car Park at 5am and lasting until until c.7.30 - 8am. It can be chilly first thing, so bring warm clothing, a hot drink and snack if required.

Tuesday 17th January. Conningbrook Lakes CP. Meet Julie Rose Stadium CP at 09.30. A winter walk around a local site to see what's around. It can be muddy so wellies or stout shoes advisable.
Thursday 16th February. Stodmarsh NNR. Meet Stodmarsh CP at 14.30. (note time). An afternoon meeting and the intention is to stay until dusk to view any Harriers coming into roost.
