Our first meeting was well attended and we had a great evening looking at many of the different Waders, Paddlers and Swimmers that can be found around our shores and on some our Nature Reserves. Thank you to Don Wilks for such an interesting evening.
Our next meeting is a talk on Hawaii by Vikki Golding on Wednesday October 8th. We look forward to seeing you there.

The Isle of Sheppey. Meet at 10.00am at the RSPB's Raptor Viewpoint over Capel Fleet on the Harty Ferry Road. It is likely to be bitterly cold so wrap up well and bring lunch and warm drinks etc. Scopes and tripods useful here. If the weather is OK we may drive before dusk along the track into Elmley NNR, birdwatching from the car. Each car costs £5.00 to use the track (free for Friends of Elmley). For Location details see:
Capel Fleet Raptor Viewpoint is simply a car park and raised viewing point maintained by the RSPB to provide visitors to the Isle of Sheppey with a strategic location to experience one of the foremost assemblages of raptors in the UK.
